Do you already know how you’d want to improve the quality of education and would you like to think along with the faculty? Are you looking for a challenge next to your studies and do you enjoy working with others? Would you like to represent all the students of the Faculty of Science?

For next year the student faculty council is for twelve students who will continue their work and who want to to help the students at the Faculty of Science. But what does a student council actually do? As a council they talk with with the faculty board on all matters concerning students, from facilities to regulations. Requests for advice and requests for approval are received from the faculty, but the council also has to right to create initiative proposals about topics it finds important.

Next year you’ll be working together with eleven other students in the form of different task forces and committees with related files.

Want to go for a part-time role or are you going all-in and gain experience as chair, vice chair or secretary. It is precisely the division of tasks mentioned before that makes it possible to study full-time alongside your council work. You can find more information right here (unfortunately it’s only in dutch) Do you have any questions and/or have you made up your mind already and want to be a part of the Faculty of Science student council 20/21 email us at fnwi@studentenraad.nl!
