BiBB Career Day on November 25, for students with a science or technical background
Last modified at: 10-06-2026
On November 25, Bèta in Bestuur & Beleid (BiBB) is hosting a career day at Sociëteit De Witte in The Hague. The event is intended for master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdocs with a science or engineering background.
Many science students do not immediately see policy, administration, or politics as a logical career path. Yet, thanks to their analytical skills and technical knowledge, they are well-equipped to contribute to societal issues such as climate, energy, digitalization, health, and safety.
During the BiBB Career Day, participants will receive concrete tools to explore a path toward governance, policy, or politics. The program consists of lectures, workshops, a career fair, and discussions with professionals in the field. Speakers will include Henri Bontenbal and Jan Anthonie Bruijn, former Minister of Health, Welfare, and Sport.
A limited number of spots are available.
Date: November 25 Location: Sociëteit De Witte, The Hague Target audience: Master’s students with a science or engineering background. PhD candidates and postdocs are also welcome.
