The Diversity Journal Talks is a monthly series that highlights a particular diversity and inclusion topic per month. The event starts with an expert and/or someone with lived experience to present a topic, followed by an open, honest, respectful, and insightful discussion.
This month’s talk will revolve around disability and understanding the preconceived notions about how someone who has a disability looks like. Pernille Vriesman is a second year psychobiology student at the FNWI and will be leading the discussion. The event will take place on Friday, October 14, from 4 to 5 PM in the Beta Lounge (room B1.25). Sign up here if you are planning to join the event!
