BIS offers a vacancy for a Student Assistant to support the Central International Office of Student Affairs in the DIGIPASS project. DIGIPASS is a multi-university partnership project designed to improve the impact of mobility experiences for students by providing a holistic approach to online mobility support. The project has developed a unique online student training programme, incorporating a range of ICT tools and open educational resources, which will support students during each stage of the mobility life cycle (orientation, pre-departure, during and after mobility). Upon completion, the UvA will offer this online training programme through its own Canvas page. Therefore, the team is looking for assistance in the conversion to our Canvas. So, if you enjoy working with Canvas and html, then this is your chance to join their team!

Preferably a candidate would:

  • be an organised person, able to keep deadlines;

  • work efficiently & effectively;

  • have a broad knowledge of html coding;

  • be skilled in Powtoon & H5P or has an interest to develop those skills.

The Student Assistant will be employed by UvA on a contract for the duration of 4 months, for 16 hours per week. You get a salary on the Student Assistant salary scale, which for full-time (38 hours a week) is €2310 gross per month (0.42 FTE roughly earns €975 per month).
