Open Archaology App Challenge: Digging for Data

The province Zuid-Holland is making her archaeological objects, like Roman coins, 3D pictures and digging documentation available as open data. With this, thousands of objects, images en documents are available for reuse. That's why the province Zuid-Holland challenges you to use this digital treasure during the Digging for Data app challenge. The winning idea recieves €20,000 to actually develop and build the app!

Do you have affinity with both archaology as a data science and computer science? Do you have a fantastic idea for a archaology application and can you actually carry it out? In short, are you Indiana Jones 2.0 and do you want to get a chance to receive €20,000 for development? Come to the kick-off meeting on April 20th at the COMM Museum in The Hague and get to know everything about the app challenge!

After the kick-off meeting, everybody can send in their idea until June 13th. Details kick-off meeting:
