Meet-the-Master

The FNWI Meet-the-Master programme is looking for master’s students who would like to share their programme and experiences at the UvA with prospective master’s students.

There are two ways in which students can help: UniBuddy – through an online chat platform, students answer questions from prospective master’s students. This is flexible and can be done at times that suit the student.

Meet the Master – as a mentor, a master’s student hosts a prospective student for a day and gives them the opportunity to experience what it is like to follow the programme and student life at the UvA. This could include attending a lecture, studying together, or having a coffee with fellow students.

Both roles give students the opportunity to share their experiences and help prospective students make an informed choice about their studies. Both activities also offer compensation for the time and effort involved.
