Are you a MSc student who wants to apply your academic skills to real-world problems? Do you want to join an interdisciplinary team and shape a resilient, sustainable and inclusive future? The Tesla Minor has a few spots left for Tesla 2024!

Tesla minor is an interdisciplinary and collaborative program that challenges you to apply your academic and creative skills to make a positive impact beyond academia. During this intensive five month (30EC) program, you will join an interdisciplinary project team and work on a real world problem with various partners and stakeholders from different sectors, such as government, NGOs, non-profits and social businesses. Using co-creation, consulting and systems thinking methods, you will create innovative approaches for positive social impact.

Besides working on a project, you also participate in -- and co-organize -- trainings, lectures, coaching and a sports program. These activities will help you develop your personal and professional skills and prepare you for a fulfilling career as a changemaker.

Tesla minor is a 30 EC full-time program that is offered in the second semester (February -- July) of the second year of your Masters' program. You can apply if you are enrolled in a 2-year MSc program at a Natural Sciences department at the UvA (FNWI) or another university.
