Do you love games or puzzles, are you an upcoming ethical hacker or just someone who simply is interested in finding vulnerabilities within networks and systems? If so, you should join the Capture The Flag Security event!

The first-ever edition of the Capture The Flag security event hosted by The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and the University of Amsterdam will take place this fall: The AUAS / UvA Cyber-Challenge 2021. The first round starts on October 15th and ends on October 18th, and is open to both students and employees.

What is the CTF challenge?
A CTF is a competition in which participants can show their hacking skills in a controlled environment. Flags can be collected within multiple areas. This event's goal is to broaden your skills and knowledge in the field of Cyber Security and hacking, as well as improving awareness about security-related vulnerabilities in general.

What can you win?
The 8 best contestants (students and employees) from the AUAS / UvA Cyber-Challenge 2021 will have the opportunity to represent the AUAS and UvA in two teams of 4 during the SURFnet CTF Challenge in December.
