Do you enjoy programming and solving difficult programming puzzles? Then participate to the Amsterdam Programming Contest! You will try to solve within a team as many programming problems within a certain time.

Every year in October, the Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest (BAPC) is organised by a study association in the Benelux. This year the contest is organised by W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' from Delft.

Two to three teams are allowed to join the contest for each university. The UvA can also send a delegation of teams. Our Amsterdam Programming Contest is the preliminary of the UvA to determine what teams can participate to the BAPC.

At the programming contest, you can solve various programming puzzles in a team of three people in Python, C, C++ or Java. You can register on the site as a team, but registering as an individual is also possible. In this case, we will try to find a team for you! Would you like to get an impression already of what possible problems for the contest might look like, have a look at the problem set of last year.

If you are interested in the APC, you can sign up here to be notified when the registration period has started.
