14:15-14:30 Drinks

14:30-17:00 Boattrip and returning to Xomnia

17:00- ~~~ More drinks, pizza and bites

Students of the association can come to our headquarters between 13:00 and 13:30, grab something to eat or to drink before we're moving on to the talk.

Talk about the self-driving boat: David Woudenberg is one of our data scientists and is project leader of Xomnia's self-driving boat. During his talk he will explain the boat's transformation from a former lifeboat to a self-driving boat using deep learning technology. Using Artificial Intelligence technologies in our daily life makes this project really challenging and exciting.

Website Xomnia

After David's talk we have some time to ask questions about the project, or about Xomnia, and of course get some more drinks. We will walk to the Prinsengracht (2 mins from Xomnia) to board the boat.

From 14:30 to 17:00h we will drive on our self-driving-boat through the canals of Amsterdam, over 'het IJ', and back to Xomnia. Obviously, we're bringing bites and drinks for the boattrip as well ;-) After returning to Xomnia, there are pizzas and more drinks ready, and some more time to chill of course.
